BACKGROUND

Mr. Herrick was graduated cum laude from Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills Michigan, summa cum laude with highest honors in political science from the University of Redlands, and from the University of Michigan Law School. As an undergraduate, Mr. Herrick achieved national distinction in NDT debate and was a Truman Scholarship finalist. At Michigan, Mr. Herrick twice reached the semi-finals in the Campbell Moot Court Competition and was awarded the best quarter-finals brief in the competition.

Mr. Herrick is admitted to practice by the Supreme Courts of Texas and California, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth, Eighth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas and the District of Colorado.

Prior to starting Herrick & Associates in 1997, Mr. Herrick was an associate in the litigation section of the Dallas office of Jenkens & Gilchrist.
